Besides creating good user experiences, she also has a strong passion for increasing diversity within STEAM having experienced the lack of it during her studies and in her job. Nathan grew up in Shanghai, China, and moved to the States eleven years ago. Finally, Asher helped develop new product features and strategic partnerships. Outside of his work and his studies, Asher is an avid reader, hiker, and skier. Her background is in women's apparel buying and merchandising for leading specialty retailers. She has run brick-and-mortar and e-commerce businesses ranging from $24 to $100 million in annual sales, owning P&L and driving growth by building customer-right product lines. She most recently worked for Google optimizing the customer experience for their Shopping vertical and pitched an Apparel market entrance strategy for 2020. She is passionate about innovation in the retail and e-commerce space. She has a BS in Marketing from Santa Clara University in San Jose, California. Outside of work Tara is an avid knitter, photographer, goofy-footed snowboarder and general outdoors-woman. Will also assisted the management group of various large financial institutions on finance and accounting assessments. During these experiences, Will cultivated an ambition to develop unique investing strategies as well as foster an innovative business mindset. Beyond his professional experience, Will is passionate about youth education where he founded two different teaching programs during his college career at Santa Clara University.
